To ensure smooth management and payment processes, your Double may require access to your accounts. At Double, we prioritize the security of your information and recommend using a password manager to securely share your credentials.

If you have subscribed to a plan outside the Stater plan, we are pleased to inform you that a complimentary vault is included in your package. This will assist you in securely storing and sharing your information.

If you have accepted the offer for a complementary vault from Double, here's how you can access your 1Password vault:

  1. Open the email invitation you received from us following your onboarding. If you haven't received the invitation, please let us know, and we will resend it to you.

  2. Accept the invitation to join Double on 1Password.

  3. Our support team will then create a shared vault specifically for you and your Double.

  4. Access the newly created vault and start adding your credentials as needed. Feel free to add and manage your credentials in the vault as you go.

Furthermore, if you're using Google Chrome, make sure to enhance your experience by adding the 1Password extension to your browser. You can do by clicking here.

If you already have a paid password management account, you can easily set up a vault for your Double. Here's how:

  1. Create a new vault within your existing account

  2. Invite your Double to access this vault, ensuring they have the necessary permissions.

  3. As you work together, gradually add your credentials and relevant information to the shared vault.

In case you have forgotten your credentials, here's how the recovery request works:

  1. Contact the Double support team or your Customer Success Manager (CSM) at [email protected] for assistance.

  2. We will initiate the recovery process in our 1Password admin system.

  3. You will receive an email with instructions for the recovery.

  4. Once you create a new password, you'll be prompted to save a 1Password Emergency Kit for future device logins.

  5. We receive an email to finalize the recovery request.

  6. After completion, log in to the 1Password website using your registered email address and the recently changed password.

How to export your data from the 1Password app?

To export the data stored in your Double vault, note that you will first need to download the 1Password app on your PC, as using only the web page will not work.
