How does the onboarding fee work?

  • For new accounts, an onboarding fee of $300 will be applied to be matched with one of our Doubles.

  • Once the onboarding fee has been paid, our team will begin the matching process.

  • Please note that if you stay more than 3 months, we will refund the onboarding fee on your 4th month invoice.

How is my pricing plan billed?

  • Month 1: In your first month with us, we understand you might not use all your hours, so we will bill you the cheapest option between the rate of the plan you are on or the number of hours used at the hourly rate of that plan.

  • Month 2 onward: Starting from the second month, you’ll be billed for your full plan minimum plus any extra hours used.

When will I receive my invoice?

  • You’ll be charged monthly for your selected billing plan within the first week of each new month.

  • If there were additional hours billed over your allotted plan, you’ll be charged at your selected billing plan’s hourly rate.

  • View your invoices from your Double App here.

How do I change my pricing plan?

  • You can select the pricing plan directly in your Double App here.

    • You can upgrade your plan at any time, it will be effective immediately.

    • If you wish to downgrade, changes need to be made by the 10th of each month to be reflected for the current billing period.

  • We have pricing plans that can fit your needs as they evolve, so if anything changes, we’re happy to discuss how different pricing plans can benefit you, and all the perks that each pricing plan comes with.

What if I am changing Doubles?

We understand that transitioning from one Double to another may mean you have used fewer hours than your plan minimum. In this case, during an open transition, we will bill you the cheapest option between the rate of the plan you are on or the number of hours used at the hourly rate of that plan.

Please note that when individual members of a team are transitioning, the team will be billed for their full plan unless all team members are transitioning.

How does my Double track time?

Doubles track the time that they work with you each day, so you’ll always be able to see how they’re spending their time on your tasks and projects.

Usage reports are available directly in your Double App here and you can receive notifications depending on your preferences.

  • Want to adjust the types of notifications you receive? Access it from Settings → Notifications in your Double App.

What if I want to cancel?

  • If you are going to be away for an extended period of time, you can ask to pause your account by reaching out to [email protected]. A return date is required to pause your account. During this time you will not be billed. We will send you a reminder before your plan starts again.

  • If you do wish to cancel, you can do so directly in the app or by reaching out to [email protected].

    • if you let us know before the 10th (included) of the month, we will charge you the cheapest option between the rate of the plan you are on or the number of hours used at the hourly rate of that plan.

      • Please note that when individual member(s) of a team leave, the team will be billed for their full plan unless all team members cancel.

    • if you let us know after the 10th, we will bill you your selected billing plan.

How can I refer someone to Double?

Would you like to refer someone? You can do so by accessing your Double App's homepage and clicking on Gift Double to earn free hours.

You will then be redirected to your dedicated referral page to provide us with more information.

*The bonus varies based on the plan chosen by your friend:

  • Starter - 3 hours free for you, $150 off for them for the first month;

  • Build - 7 hours free for you, $400 off for them;

  • Scale - 12 hours free for you, $700 off for them;

  • Enterprise - 18 hours free for you, $1000 off for them.
