What can I expect during and after my onboarding call with Double?

At Double, our onboarding calls are designed to get you started with your EA quickly and seamlessly so that you can start delegating right away.

Agenda and Call Structure

  1. Introductions Your Double typically shares more about their background and areas of expertise, as well as their location and working times. In turn, executives can speak about their company, the role that they are in, and any pain points in their day-to-day.

  2. Tech Set Up & Double App Demo It’s a best practice to discuss with your Double which tools you’d like them to collaborate on and give them access to what you decide on together. Instructions on how to set this up are available in the Onboarding Checklist in the Double web app and FAQs here:

  3. Goal Setting

    This section of the call is intended to dive in deeper and tailor the collaboration to the your unique needs. Our goal is that your Double will be able to understand your priorities, discuss where to start first, and what your high-level plans may be for the next few months.

Ideas of questions to ask yourself to set your goals and intentions

  • Project/Goal Prioritization: 1. What’s keeping me up at night? 2. What was the last task I did that annoyed me? 3. How can your Double have the biggest impact in the first 30 days?

  • Early Best Practices: 1. How often do you want to meet 1:1? 2. What are your communication preferences? 3. What do you need from me to get started?

4. Next Steps Now that you and your Double have met and discussed expectations, it’s time to define who owns the next steps.

  • Suggestions for common next step examples

    • Tech Set Up: You will set up their inbox, calendar, and invite them to your password manager + any other tools that you will use together

    • Scheduling first 1:1 - Your Double will take next steps to set up a time based on what you discussed together

    💡 Need suggestions on what to delegate? Need your Double to suggest SOPs or a tool that you want to use? These all serve as great ideas for next steps for your Double to already start making an impact from Day 1!

    Hours and Billing

    • Each week, you’ll receive a usage report of the hours your Double worked for you so far in the current month.

    • You can review your hours at any time in the Double App under the Usage Tab.

    Getting Started & Best Practices

    • Once you’re on board with your Double, you can start delegating right away

    • 1:1s with your Double are crucial to building the relationship, having an opportunity to share feedback, and making sure that you and your Double are aligned on expectations.

    • Your Double is available to respond within 2 hours, Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm in your time zone.
